Students from the Academy of Kempo Martial Arts in Hamden received new ranks:Ivan Larzaro and Francine Corpus were promoted to junior orange belt; Gabriella Rodriguez and Gabriel R. Ciarleglio were promoted to junior blue belt; Khiry Oliver was promoted to junior blue stripe belt; Sarah Miller was promoted to adult blue belt; Alexander Antoine was promoted to junior green belt; Emily Maranets and Michael Rotondo were promoted to second-degree junior brown belt; Theodore Maranets was promoted to third-degree junior brown belt; and Matthew Tomlin was promoted to first degree junior black belt.
