        Help the kids at Academy Of Kempo Martial Arts (1890 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, 203-288-9990) fill local pantries at Saint Ann’s Soup Kitchen and the Keefe Community Center. The Academy’s accepting non-perishable food donations now through the end of December. As incentive, you get a kick-back, too: Two weeks of free lessons for new students, or one free semi-private lesson for a donation of five non-perishable items to current students at the Academy.
